A cash checking food store got my check returned to them Am i responsible for their fees?
Ok so i cashed a payday check that i thought was still good and the store got it back so they couldnt cash it. Came after me to get the money back. i gave them the amount he gave me and now he askin for the 2% he took out and 25 bank fee. Am i subject to pay him for that or is he at lost?…And can he press any charges against me even though i gave him the money.
Can banks sue you for a check cashed in at store?
My friend received 2 checks in the mail that she suspects might be fake but not sure. She really needs the money and she doesn’t have a bank account. She’s thinking about cashing the checks in at a gas station or something, idk. I’m not sure what she got the checks for, she wouldn’t tell me. But is there anyway for the banks to trace the money back to her/bounce since the checks are probably fake and she doesn’t have a bank account, she’s using a store? Please help, simple answers, no lectures please… Thanks.

Babysitting is my job, so I get paid with a personal check each week. However, I work before the bank is open and after the bank closes. How am I supposed to cash my checks during the week. I can sometimes make it to a bank that is in a grocery store that cashes checks but is there anywhere else that will cash them as well. I go to walmart or krogers and ask and they just say sorry we don’t cash those checks. What can I do?
I have a bank account but to deposit checks i have to mail them in and wait all that time because my bank is not in my area, USAA for anyone who knows who they are
