Ok, here is the deal. My fiance wrote me a personal check for 00. We both bank with Bank of America. I need to cash this check so I can go buy a car from a private seller who will only take cash for payment. I plan on going to the bank in the morning, cashing the check, then buying the car. I have heard many many bad things about Bank of America and want to know if they will cash this check right away for me or if they will say it will take days to verify it. The check is from my fiance so I am not scamming or stealing and the account has more then enough to cover it. We also both live in North Carolina. Has anyone else cashed a large check with BofA in North Carolina and experenced any issues?

I just got a personal check from my mom and i want to cash it problem is i don’t have a bank account and i cant get one right now either another problem is that the check is from M and T bank which is only in the east coast like maryland and new york is there any way i can cash the check i dont care about fees but i need the money asap

i wrote a check dated Dec. 1st, 2006 to a school. it still has not been cashed. is there a specific # of days the school has to cash the check?? it has been almost 2 months and the check has not been cashed. is it too late for them to cash the check??? help me…
