I am seeking resources for investing in independent check cashing/money transfer stores.?
We don’t want to open check cashing stores from scratch or take an active management role, but rather invest and take an ownership stake in profitable check cashing/money transfer shops for good cash flow yields.
Are there any good references available to help find independent (non corporate shops)? Could someone who has done this before provide any advise?

Will Bank of America give me a hard time cashing a personal check for $2000?
Ok, here is the deal. My fiance wrote me a personal check for 00. We both bank with Bank of America. I need to cash this check so I can go buy a car from a private seller who will only take cash for payment. I plan on going to the bank in the morning, cashing the check, then buying the car. I have heard many many bad things about Bank of America and want to know if they will cash this check right away for me or if they will say it will take days to verify it. The check is from my fiance so I am not scamming or stealing and the account has more then enough to cover it. We also both live in North Carolina. Has anyone else cashed a large check with BofA in North Carolina and experenced any issues?
